| Being Marcie Wolf |

Marcie Wolf grew up in a very musical family in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Marcie's mother George Ann Wolf was an elementary music school teacher plus she had a show on PBS called "Music with Mrs. Wolf" in the early 1960's. Marcie's father Steve Wolf was the high school band director for 27 years and was a talented trumpet player in his own right. Siblings Stephanie, Max and Suzanne went on to teach in one capacity or another. While in high school, Marcie participated in marching band, concert band, choir and theater. Marcie attended Central Michigan University as a music major and was a member of the Marching Chips and the CMU Concert Choir. Marcie spent one year touring the US and Canada with the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps as a member of the color guard working mainly with various flags while doing a great deal of dance on the field. Phantom Regiment was 4th in the world that year at DCI in Montreal. Marcie realized early on that she didn't want to be a music teacher or a performer so she moved to Washington, DC where her best friend Marc was working as a tour guide for the US Capitol. Marcie worked for First American Bank during the day and worked as a bartender in the New York New York nightclub a few nights a week. Marcie returned to Mt. Pleasant in 1989 and found her niche in marketing and web design while working for CMU's School of Music. She came to the realization then that her calling was definitely in online marketing and graphic design for the web. Marcie was employed with Abacus Software and Publishing in Grand Rapids prior to moving to Petoskey in 2000. In 2002, Marcie Wolf and Cindy Dickson founded AlphaGeek Web Design and immediately found success by providing web development services to the small and medium business. Marcie is very active in the business community and networks with the local chambers. She serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society, is the Marketing Coordinator for Petoskey's Festival on the Bay and serves on the Marketing Committee for Camp Daggett. Marcie is the past Chair of the PRCC Ambassadors and recipient of the 2008 PRCC Ambassador of the Year.
Marcie lives near Harbor Springs with Eric Davis and their dog Trekker. She spends her free time biking local wheelways, hiking wooded nature trails, kayaking, canoeing, hanging out at the beach, socializing with friends and exploring the north in Eric's Jeep Rubicon.
