About Marcie Wolf

I grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan in a very musical family. My Dad, Stephen Wolf, was the high school band director and my Mom, George Ann Wolf, taught elementary music and also hosted a show on PBS called "Music with Mrs. Wolf". I have three siblings - Stephanie (aka Stevie), Max and Suzanne.

Since my parents were both teachers, we spent our summers camping throughout northern Michigan, the Upper Peninsula and Ontario, Canada. My Dad taught me alot about appreciating nature, enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds us and how to find peace away from the fast-paced life we normally lived. Camping helped define the "Nature Girl" I am today.

Career Choices

I enrolled at Central Michigan University's School of Music with the intention of following my father's footsteps. I soon learned that I did not want to be a music teacher so I dropped out off college. I spent the spring and summer with Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps as a member of the color guard. We competed across the United States and Canada and took 4th Place at DCI Finals in Montreal. It was an experience that helped me mature as a woman and grow as a performer.

After a few failed marriages and working a boring job in the banking industry, I finally found my calling in web design and website development while working at CMU's School of Music. I ended up in northern Michigan in 2000 and met Cindy Dickson through a mutual employer. Cindy and I shared the same dream of getting into web design. We partnered in 2002 at a time when small businesses needed web design services so our timing was perfect! Within one year, we were both working for our business full time.

Living in Northern Michigan

I've lived in the Petoskey area for almost 11 years now and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I am close to the outdoor activities I love and am surrounded by beaches, nature trails, bike paths, walking and hiking trails, places to camp and beautiful vistas.

The people here are what makes Petoskey feel like home. I am blessed to have great friends, wonderful clients and a fun business partner. I also live with Eric Davis of Progressive Video Innovations - he makes me laugh and smile.

True Love is Rescued

TrekkerOur dog Trekker is truly the sweetest dog anyone could ask for. We adopted her in May 2010 when she was 8 weeks old and instantly fell in love with her sweet nature and her kooky personality. Trekker loves to play in her yard, enjoys a snuggle with her Mom & Dad, is a great dog to take hiking on wooded trails and she loves to go for rides in the Jeep. She is very social and friendly - she has to say "Hi" to everyone she sees on our walks and has lots of canine friends that she loves playing and running with whenever she can. Trekker looks forward to occasional visits to Doggie Day Care at LTBHS where she gets lots of attention and plays with other dogs.

She is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are her life, her love, her leader. She will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of her heart. You owe it to her to be worthy of such devotion.
